Privacy Policy
Effective August 25, 2026 · Last updated August 25, 2026
Astraia is published by ARISTOURGIMA LLC ("we," "us," "our"), an Ohio limited liability company.
This policy covers both the Astraia mobile app and this website, www.aristourgima.net/astraia. The short version: the app collects nothing about you. It has no accounts, no servers of ours, and no analytics — everything you measure stays on your device. This website, like any website, is served by a host that keeps standard request logs.
1. Information we collect
From the app: none.
We do not operate a server that receives your information. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address, name, phone number, or payment details. We have no ability to identify you.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses
- Account credentials (there are no accounts)
- Payment or financial information
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA, GAID) or device fingerprints
- Analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral data
Astraia contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no third-party tracking library of any kind.
From this website: see section 5.
2. Information stored on your device
Astraia saves a small amount of data locally so the app is useful between sessions:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Screen calibration value | So you don't have to re-calibrate every time |
| Saved measurements — the label you type, ring diameter, band width, and size | So you can look up your size later |
| Preferences — language, theme, default sizing region | So the app behaves the way you set it |
This data is written to your device's own app storage. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it, and we have no copy of it.
Any label you type when saving a measurement — a name, a nickname, "left hand," whatever you choose — is stored on your device only. We suggest not entering information you would not want visible to someone else using your phone.
3. Deleting your data
You are always in control:
- Individual measurements — delete them from the Saved screen inside the app.
- Calibration — clear it with "Reset Calibration" in Settings.
- Everything — uninstalling Astraia removes all of its local data from your device.
Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to delete on our end.
4. Network access
On Android, Astraia requests internet permission; iOS has no equivalent permission to request. On both platforms, network access is used for one purpose: opening a link you tapped in your browser or another app.
The app's images and sizing data are bundled inside the app itself. Astraia does not download content, does not "phone home," and does not contact any server we control — because we do not operate one.
5. This website
www.aristourgima.net/astraia is a static site. It has no accounts, no logins and no forms, so it never asks you for a name, an email address or any other personal detail in order to browse it. We set no tracking cookies of our own and run no analytics.
The pages make no request to any other company. Typefaces, images and stylesheets are all served from this site, so loading a page does not reveal your visit to a font host, a content network or an analytics provider.
One third party does unavoidably see your visit:
- Our web host keeps standard server request logs, which include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. These exist to serve the site and to detect abuse, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.
Affiliate links, where present, are the one place where following a link hands you to someone else, as described in the next section.
6. Affiliate links and third parties
Astraia is free. It is intended to earn money through affiliate commissions.
The app and this website may show product suggestions from retailers such as Amazon and Etsy. If you tap or click one, we may earn a commission on a resulting purchase, at no additional cost to you. We may participate in third-party affiliate programs, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.
What this means for your privacy:
- Following a product link opens that retailer's website or app. You leave Astraia at that point.
- The retailer — not us — then receives your IP address, device and browser information, and whatever else their site normally collects. Their privacy policy governs, not ours.
- Affiliate networks typically use cookies or link parameters to attribute a purchase to us. These are set by the retailer or network in your browser, not by Astraia, and they do not identify you to us.
- We receive only aggregate commission reports — for example, that a sale occurred. We do not receive your name, address, payment details, or order contents.
You can clear or block cookies, including affiliate cookies, in your browser settings at any time. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any retailer you visit.
7. Sharing and clipboard features
Two features in the app move information off your device, and both require you to act:
- Drop a Hint opens your device's standard share sheet with a message you can review. It goes only to the person and app you choose. We never see it and it does not pass through us.
- Copy Specs for Custom Jeweler copies your measurement to your device clipboard so you can paste it somewhere. Be aware that your operating system controls the clipboard: other apps may be able to read it, and on Apple devices it may sync to your other devices via Universal Clipboard. This is standard OS behavior, not something Astraia controls.
8. Children
Astraia is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because the app collects no personal information at all, it does not gather data from children either.
9. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws)
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.
We do not collect, store, sell, share, or process personal information, so there is no data for these rights to apply to. We have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not. Your measurements live on your device and are yours to delete at any time.
10. Data security
The measurements stored by Astraia are protected by your device's own security — your passcode, biometrics, and the operating system's app sandbox. Because nothing is transmitted or stored on our systems, there is no server-side database of user data to breach.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how Astraia handles information, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date. If we ever add analytics, crash reporting, or any feature that collects data, we will update this policy before that version ships and describe clearly what is collected.
